Bob Hines will present the latest research conducted at the Sam Riggs Farm just north of Brookeville. This presentation will cover the history of the early Riggs family, project research goals, and a description of some of the artifacts excavated, ranging from the colonial period to the early 20th century

Lab Work
Public Archeology in Port Tobacco
Join CCASM members and Charles County archaeologist Esther Read for the ongoing Public Archaeology Lab Days. Process artifacts recovered recently from Stagg Hall as well as those recovered in the 1970's around the Courthouse. Everyone is welcome, but children will need to be accompanied by an adult.
